Restoring a Stride 460 computer

Restoring a Stride 460 tower computer. This is a 68000 based computer created by Stride Micro (formerly Sage Computer Technology). It was saved from the dumpsters by the engineer that used it in the early/mid 1980′s. I took all of the pieces, cleaned and repaired them and restored the system to operation. Lots of fun!!! Enjoy! www.sageandstride.org

The Idris OS is installed on the Stride 460 in the video. Idris was a UNIX-like OS developed by Whitesmiths.

Wikipedia has a good description of the Idris OS.

    Thanks for watching!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I’m hoping to do more video of other Sage and Stride systems now that I see how to do it.
