Worked fine for about 23 days, then one of the charger stations came unglued. Can only charge one ps3 controller now. It was never used brutally. Not much to recommend it if it breaks in the 1st month.

Put it this way, one customer complained about the price being too much, but you would pay more for two separate charging docks and that’s before taxes. I know that it is slightly pricey, but you get a 2-in-1 charging station. This station means less power consumption (probably not much less, but you get where I’m going)and less money to waste on buying a dedicated PS3 charging station, and an XBOX 360 charging station. The other great thing I like is the smart-charge feature. you can (according to the manufacturer) leave you controllers plugged in after charged, and they will not be overcharged. My advice for that is to simply unplug the AC adapter from the station. Another feature is the design of the station. Energizer’s PDP gave Konnet a great idea, but made there’s better than Energizer’s PDP station. I saved money and taxes by sticking w/ something that has me covered on both ends. Even if you just have a PS3, visa-versa a XBOX 360, this will come in handy for the day you do get the other system. It’s not as big as the pictures make it BTW. So let’s see $40 dollars (plus shipping/tax) versus $60 dollars (plus shipping/tax) not a hard decision to make…buy this, save money, charge both PS3 and 360 controllers, be happy w/ your purchase like me. Done deal!

The top two charging attachments quit working after a couple of weeks. It doesn’t appear that the mounting system provides sufficient cushion against shock when connecting a controller to the charger, resulting in damage to the circuit board and/or wiring underneath. Connecting the controllers to the chargers is a pain – I often had to pick up the entire unit to get a controller mounted. Also, the little rubber bumpers on the bottom of the unit that keep it from moving around quickly came off – the adhesive was inadequate. All in all, this charger is a nice concept, but it is poorly constructed. I returned my defective unit for a refund.

i bought this item thinking it would kill two birds with one stone WRONG. This item worked good for about 3 days, after that the ps3 ports stop charging, i sent it back and, then the bottom left xbox port stop working. I didn’t misuse it. I take care of my video gaming equipment. It was a great concept but a cheap product.

Nice for gamers with both consoles. Downside is that it doesn’t come with rechargeable battery packs and doesn’t seem to work with regular replaceable batteries. Guess i’ll be buying some rechargeable batteries. oh well. still cool.
